Located near the community of Puerto Barantilla (south of Puerto Napo - in the Tena region). With their canoe they await your arrival on the river shore at Puerto Barantilla at an agreed time, usually in the early afternoon. From there you are taken two kilometers downstream in wide and safe motor canoes until we reach our lodge. After your welcome drink they will show you to your cabin. In the evening, at our inviting open fire, they can arrange your tours during your stay with us.
FEATURES
The Lodge has a maximum of 35 guests in 12 double rooms, 1 quadruple, 1 triple room and one family cabin. Overall they have 8 semi-attached double cabins for guests, one central building with reception area, restaurant and bar, as well as 2 smaller staff buildings. In the rainforest there is no electricity. For this reason you can enjoy tranquil evenings with candle light and the sounds of the forest.
All of our cabins are made out of local materials. You will be surprised how comfortable they are. They are built on stilts and are mainly made out of bamboo with traditional palm thatched roofs, creating a lovely flair. From your cabin you have a lovely view of the river and all cabins have their own spacious terrace, from which you can watch the sun go down while resting in your hammock.
The bathroom is tiled, with warm shower, toilette and wash basin. Every room has an ensuite bathroom. The water arrives from a cristal clear spring behind the lodge. To allow better air circulation in the rooms we have replaced windows with mosquito meshes. This and the palm thatched roofs create a cooler room temperature and you might even need a woollen blanket at night.
